UPDATE: Erickson facing 21 charges; 3 others charged for ammo possession
The charges include seven (7) counts of Possession of Prohibited Weapon, eleven (11) counts of Keeping a Firearm Without a License, two (2) counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply Another, and one (1) count of Possession of the Proceeds of Criminal Conduct.
Erickson remains in police custody pending his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
Police said his arrest and subsequent charges stemmed from inquiries into high-level, organized criminal activities being perpetrated by linked individuals and promised updates on the investigation will be provided as they become available.
3 charged with unlawful possession of explosives
Meanwhile, police have also charged three males in relation to the recent recovery of ammunition as announced yesterday, September 20, 2023.
Police in a release said Cordell Oneal, 38, of Fresh Water Pond; Kanmi Oneal, 34, of Pockwood Pond; and Jelani Christopher, 31, of Cane Garden Bay were all jointly charged with unlawful possession of explosives.
Police said Wednesday, September 20, 2023, they received information that men, armed with firearms, were traversing Road Town, raising concerns for the safety of residents.
“As a result, several vehicles, including one occupied by the three men, were stopped and searched in the Road Town area, During the search a loaded magazine with 31 rounds of high-velocity ammunition was recovered.”
The police added that all three men will also remain in police custody pending their appearance at the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
“I appreciate the ongoing support from the public and the force values their continued commitment to assisting us with maintaining safety and security,” Police Commissioner Mark Collins said in expressing gratitude to the citizens of the VI.

Police confirm arrest of returning resident; 3 others nabbed with ammo
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that police have tonight September 20, 2023, nabbed three persons found with ammunition, while another male returning resident was arrested.
This comes as the RVIPF is investigating a recent series of gun violence primarily concentrated on the main island of Tortola.
While the police did not reveal the name of the arrested individuals, nor the location of the arrests, it said a male resident of the Virgin Islands (VI) was arrested upon his return to the territory.
Police detailed that three other males were arrested by officers when ammunition was discovered in a vehicle in which they were traveling.
Officials from the force said that the investigation remains dynamic, and as such, more updates will come.

Since you all have the facts about this young man and know what he did to other people; you should go to the authorities and share your information.
