UPDATE: Dwight Callwood & Pia King charged for gun find @ Butu Mountain
Charged are Dwight Callwood, 41, and female Pia King, 22, both residing in Butu Mountain.
Police in a press release today, March 8, 2021, said officers of a Special Investigation Team were executing a search warrant at the home when they uncovered the loaded illegal weapon.
Callwood and King, both VI nationals, are charged for Keeping an Unlicenced Firearm and will appear before the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.

Butu Mountain duo busted with gun in home
-arrested & charged for Keeping Unlicensed Firearm
Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO), is that a 41-year-male and a 22-year-old female were both arrested and charged for Keeping Unlicensed Firearm after police found a gun in their home.
The arrests took place around 2:30 pm yesterday, March 5, 2021, at Butu Mountain where both individuals who are BVI nationals, were cautioned and served with a copy of their charges.
It remains unclear whether the duo is still in police custody over the offence.
VINO will bring more information as it becomes available.

Good people don’t have illegal guns. Home owes/ those who live within house that knows there’s an illegal gun start to begin to feel the pain. It doesn’t hit home until it hits home
