UPDATE: Carrot Bay resident Melvin E. Donovan found

CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- Carrot Bay resident Mr Melvin E. Donovan, who was reported missing has been found.

According to information received, Mr Donovan is in the process of being returned to his family. The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) did not disclose any further information regarding where Mr Donovan was found.

The RVIPF did however thank the public for their continued assistance.

CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) had notified the public about a resident of Carrot Bay reported missing.

Melvin E. Donovan, 51, was last seen in the Road Town area in February 2025, wearing a tan-coloured long pants and a purple t-shirt.

Donovan is said to be about 5ft 6’, weighs about 150 pounds, slim built and dark-skinned.

According to Police, Mr Donovan has a history of mental illness, and his family is very concerned about his well-being.

Anyone who has seen Melvin E. Donovan or has any information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact 311, the nearest police station, or any member of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.

    This guy isnt in conservatorship so why file him missing? Isnt he allowed to go as he pleases? This family did the same thing for uncle their uncle Lispert Donovan. Man gone for a day- run quick to the police when the man just chillin. SMH.
