VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI - Our newsroom can confirm that the body found by police yesterday, May 17, 2024, on Virgin Gorda is that of businessman Everette A. O’Neal aka ‘Fisher’.

Mr O’Neal, who had reportedly been sick for some time, ran a successful construction company before a career as a public officer. He was also an economist. 

The deceased is the brother of Otto O’Neal, the first Cabinet Secretary of the Virgin Islands and former Permanent Secretary in the Premier’s Office Dr Carolyn O’Neal-Morton among other brothers and sisters.

Virgin Islands News Online will bring more details on the life of Everette O’Neal and offer his immediate family and other loved ones our deepest condolences.

Male found dead @ Valley, Virgin Gorda 

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI – Police at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) have confirmed the death of a male from Valley, Virgin Gorda community. 

Police said after receiving a report just after 7:00 pm this evening, May 17, 2024, an unresponsive male was found at the location.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene; however, it remains unclear the identity of the man or if the individual was found dead at home or some other location.

Police added investigations into the death are being conducted.

Our news centre will bring more details once it becomes available.
