- results also outstanding for skeletal remains unearthed on Main Street in February

On March 30, 2016, the decomposing body of a woman was recovered by police at Hawk’s Nest.
Police say they have been in communication with the family of Nickera Smith who has been missing since January 27, 2016. Speculation has been rife that the body is that of 22 year-old Smith.
“The matter has been reported to the Coroner who has ordered an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death. The RVIPF have a number of lines of enquiry including that of missing 22-year-old Nickera Smith who was last seen on 27 January 2016,” a press release from the RVIPF on April 1, 2016 stated.

It was on Monday February 8, 2016 that police discovered skeletal remains on a plot of land on Main Street. The RVIPF said in a release that forensic officers were preparing to carry out the necessary forensic examination in hopes of confirming an identity but at that time had not connected the discovery to the recent missing person’s report.

Hopefully the link of songs below will be more appropriate for this time. Sorry for lashing out at those who did not accept my first attempted- in particular Long Shanks, Brenda, and island life. My family live in Virgin Gorda, some in the U.S., and my first attempted was to say to the people of the Virgin Islands- I’m also feeling your pains, saying hello from the other side- which is Virgin Gorda and that we are sorry for the choices we may or may not have made (doing nothing is also a choice) in producing the environment we now find ourselves living in- like not saying or doing anything when we witness wrongdoings. Whichever expressions we can communicate with, we all need to contribute to the environment we all wish to experience. Each one of us is responsible for the welfare of our country and we all can play our part moving forward. If you see or witness something, say something.
If what I presented was interpreted differently and if you are a grown adults on these sites, then you need to start explaining things to our young people instead of constantly beating us down for trying to do something we view as positive. We are hurting too. I am really hurting for Our BVI. What I contribute is my expression of my pain.
My mom says never to limit what I can do regardless of my institutionalized religious or spiritual teachings. She says explore it all and accept what I consider is best for me. She is my “True Hero” and she works tirelessly as a public servant and an adjunct professor for us to witness and achieve. I greatly appreciate her childhood stories of growing up in the Virgin Islands and her early experiences. The Love and Care people had for each, regardless of their differences; when every parent looked out for each other children. When you can go to your neighbour’s house and ask for a can of milk or a cup of sugar and vice versa. Everyone lived as one people. What is going on with us today?
We all need to go to the home of this family and give them a hug of Love. I have forwarded 4 songs in different genres as my contribution. Writing in different genres and music to me are universal expressions that have no boundaries and soothe us all in times of pains and heavy burdens. These are the songs that express how my family and I feel at this time. I am hoping that they will be accepted and appreciated by others throughout the community in these trying times. Sincerely.

Once Again- Our Deepest Condolences go out to the family and our supportive energy goes out to the people of the Beautiful Virgin Islands.
