UPDATE: 2 guns used, 8 bullets hit vehicle in shooting near The Stickit

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the individual was on his way to his home on the eastern side of Tortola when he came under fire.
None of the bullets hit the businessman but the rear glass and a side glass of the vehicle were shattered.
During the attack, the vehicle reportedly crashed into another automobile but did not stop as it was still being pursued.
2 firearms used
According to our sources, when officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) arrived on the scene, they retrieved a number of spent shells and, upon examination; they were found to have been shot from two different types of guns.
It is not clear; however, if the guns were used by two or one person at the time.
Police investigations are ongoing.

Gunman allegedly opens fire on vehicle in Long Look
LONG LOOK, Tortola, VI- Information just reaching our newsroom is that a gunman reportedly opened fire on a vehicle in the Long Look area of Tortola this evening, Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
According to reports, the incident allegedly occurred around 6:30pm.
The driver of the bullet-riddled vehicle reportedly escaped unhurt.
Police Commissioner Michael B. Matthews has confirmed reports of a shooting.
"We have responded to a report of an individual who was allegedly shot at but not injured. No other details at this stage," Mr Matthews told Virgin Islands News Online.
