Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die from COVID - CDC study shows
The study also found that people who are not vaccinated against the virus were also 4.6 times likelier to get infected.
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Friday said, "Looking at cases over the past two months when the Delta variant was the predominant variant circulating in this country, those who were unvaccinated were about four and a half times more likely to get COVID-19, over 10 times more likely to be hospitalized, and 11 times more likely to die from the disease."
The CDC's latest data, published as three studies in the agency's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, are also the latest sign that booster shots could become necessary in the coming months for many.
The study was conducted as the Delta variant became the dominant strain of the virus in the USA, where the CDC examined outcomes among patients who visited medical facilities' urgent care departments, emergency rooms as well as veterans' hospitals.

The CDC says this new study spans more than 600,000 people from over 13 jurisdictions and of the major conclusions, the CDC found that unvaccinated populations were over 10 times more likely to be hospitalized than vaccinated
CDC, Director Walensky further said the data shows that the vaccine works, “The bottom line is this, we have the scientific tools we need to turn the corner on this pandemic, vaccination works and will protect us from the severe complications of COVID-19.”
The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center said early Saturday that it had recorded 223.9 million global COVID-19 cases and 4.6 million deaths. The center said 5.6 billion vaccine doses have been administered.

So now, all things being equal, MORE unvaccinated died from complications related to the disease. Are you going to say that is a "supposed" fact too?

The problem is that it's not that simple as Governments across the world are trying to find ways to mandate. Biden just did. Guyana does not permit unvaccinated nationals to return to their own country. Right here in the BVI people are being fired for their stance. This is blatant wickedness. What they fail to realize that these travel, work, entertainment mandates will only harden the stance of the unvaccinated and lead to more distrust and people will try to circumvent the system. It will also create more division among the people at a time when we need to unite.
99% of people survive the virus. Sho why not focus on encouraging the most vulnerable to vaccinate? Why not focus on treatments? Healthy living campaigns? When all is said and done we still have to live together but I am afraid many will be bitter as they were ostracized, victimized because they chose to exercise the right to choose what goes in their bodies. Creating a bitter society.
I never said that if folks take the vaccine they won't die. I simply said it reduces your chance of hospitalization and death.
We agree to disagree but my perspective is that people can die before their appointed time depending on the way they live their lives. Even the Bible says " Honor your Mother and Father so your days would be long on the earth".
Vaccinated can be hosts and they can transmit and that is the Science!

Now let's look at this more closer, r these people words is 2 b trusted? First they said if u take the 2 vaccine shots u r covered and can't get covid, then we find out fully vaccinated people r get n covid & dying from it. Secondly, they never mention anything about get n booster shots but we found out this is something that all vaccinated person will have 2 do until they die, uhhh did they say y vaccinated people need 2 take the booster shots?
