Umoja show caller commends Government, says more in store for VI
The caller, in speaking to the host Cromwell Smith and the listening radio world, on Thursday April 19, 2012, said that the National Democratic Party (NDP), has a strong bond and a vision for Tortola.
"It’s going to take some time but every place is going to get touched right now and I want to congratulate them," said the caller.
She claimed that for eight years she has been unemployed but thanks to the NDP, she is now working.
"It wasn't an easy road, not a road of gold, but I do appreciate what they did for me."
"All this time the people of VIP was there, there just handing out bucket of lies," the caller asserted on the show that airs every Thursday from 8:30 p.m.
She re-assures the listening public of Anegada, that the island is a very nice place and "whatever will be done, will be done".
"Progress is happening in the BVI and I really love how it is flowing," said the caller.
The NDP Government defeated the Virgin Islands Party at the November 2011 General Elections in a 9-4 victory.
