UK National Pam Trevillion new RVIPF Assistant Commissioner of Police
Sources have indicated that St Claire Amory will now take up the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Operations & Ms Jacqueline E. Vanterpool is now DCP Support. Mr Amory had previously served as acting Assistant Commissioner while Ms Vanterpool has been Acting Deputy Commissioner since January 2022.
The new appointments were approved by the National Security Council and Ms Trevillion joins the force after a career in law enforcement in the UK where she served as Superintendent Crime Manager for the Devon and Cornwell Police force before being posted to the Falkland Islands.
While working for the Government of the Falkland Islands, she served as Government Director with direct leadership responsibility for the Royal Falkland Islands Police, Prison and Probation Service, Fire and Rescue Service, Falkland Islands Defence Force, Falkland Islands Maritime Authority, Customs and Immigration including Principal Immigration Officer according to her Linked-in profile.
Hunt for new Superintendent & Chief Inspector
Sources indicated that the force will now be hunting internally for a new Superintendent of Police and Chief Inspector to replace Ms Vanterpool and Mr Amory respectively.
Since the news, some critics have stated that there was no need to import an Assistant Commissioner of Police from the UK when there are many local Senior Inspectors who are qualified to carry out the post.
Many see this as a backend way for the Police Commissioner, Mr Mark Collins to run the force with his Assistant Commissioner overlooking both the Deputy Commissioners.

This is some real ask bull**it
@ racist
Maybe she will help in getting the police off their a$$e$ and patrol the streets. Look what happened at 8:30pm Friday right in the face of the police station in Long Swamp. Especially on weekends when that area known as 42st are crowded, wtf are police presence not seen in the area? The police should be out patrolling the streets in their communities, and acquainting themselves with the people. This is one of the reason they can't get necessary information to solve crimes. They show up late. We don't know who the @**% we are dealing with, because we don't see them out here trying to prevent sh** before it happens. They are an inefficient bunch of parasites. They only feast on the public's purse with nothing to show. Commissioner, Assistant C, Deputy C please get the police off their @$$*$ to patrol the communities to keep us safe. If you have to arm them, then sh** arm them to protect themselves and the people. Thank you.
We to @#$%& stupid, you all want UK take over , customs and immigration next, then the prison!
HOW UH LIKE THAT???? Utter and blatant disregard and disrespect for the entire country!
Was there absolutely no person in the department capable of filling that position? Telling someone like Ms. Vanderpool to go to hell. The pattern and aim is clear. You people - you locals are not worthy nor qualified for leadership roles. We the uk must be in absolute CONTROL of the slaves - we will take over. In the mean time we'll lock up decent law-abiding people like the two ladies recently arrested. And by the way, we'll also assign you people a governor who will not and did not even have to qualify for position.
It is time to rise up and fight back for our own dignity. We must hit the streets and obstruct the flow of business as usual. We're calling for the police to rise up as well.
All the best.
Pam Trevillion by her nationality and ethnicity. Accept her appointment. She very well prove to be a worthy assistant that may prove to be good human asset, rather than a bad human liability, as many us us are now.
The truth is most black skin people have a skin colour problem against white people. White likewise the same against black skin people. Because of this, we both rush to judgement against each other. This mindset need to be reset as soon as possible in order for envy, jealousy, and strife to cease, Also that better governance will become a reality in the BVI sooner rather than later, if at all it will happen.
Sometimes race is the important factor in a situation. Sometimes it isn't. Some people here are so ignorant they make it the most important part of EVERY situation, even when it makes no sense at all.
White doctor: you have broken your leg.
Idiot: Look at you trying to dominate me and tell me what's wrong with my own body! How dare you oppress me and make me look ignorant? In fact, my leg wasn't broken before I fell off my scooter and was brought to hospital. I suspect you broke it! You people have been doing this to me for hundreds of years!
Doctor: Errr, ... O.... K ... ??
However it appears they give the two officers Deputy and import there own assistant not to make it look so bad. I suspect the Commissioner saw the infighting among the officers and made his move. When he contract is up he will recommend her to take over from him. Same old future power move in the making.
Because I see no reason why one deputy cannot function as support and operations and the other as Assistant. The force itself needs a enquiry and new structure to keep pace with the rapid change in the world.
Will anything change with these promotions and appointment? Nothing will not change, not when you have a Force of low morale and lowest paid police in the OTs, different same sh**, same sh** different day. The two that have been promoted have been apart of the organization for the past 50 years with their service combined, and the RVIPF is at rock bottom in every way shape and form, they have no vision or ideas hence the reason why the organization has perished and continues to do so.
The truth will light the system up that’s why they try very hard to rewrite history before our eyes about world events.
Don’t even stoop to these peoples level because they are actually racists.
Check mate
We need to get serious about fixing our own problems. But we must push back on this very real threat of a Direct Rule by the UK.
