Aché Abrahams has been officially declared the second runner-up of Miss World 2023.

At the 71st Miss World pageant held on March 9 in India, only the runner-up and winner were announced. The result confirming Abrahams as second runner-up was posted on the Miss World website.

The Miss World T&T Franchise congratulated Aché Abrahams on the achievement.

“We look forward, as a franchise and as a country, in producing a lot more talent, role models, and competent young women in representing our Trinidad and Tobago,” the franchise said in a social media post.

She was a standout throughout the competition, with her Beauty with a Purpose Project, Invisible Scars, gaining recognition among the top 10 finalists from an original 112 projects presented.

Abrahams, the reigning Miss World Caribbean, is using the platform to advocate not just for Trinidad and Tobago, but the wider Caribbean.

Czech Republic's Krystyna Pyszková is the current holder of the Miss World title while Lebanon's Yasmina Zaytoun was first runner-up.

Botswana's Lesego Chombo was named Miss World Africa.
