Leaving the scene of the accident was one offense for sure. Now let's see if he gets charged with vehicular homicide, accident or not. He made himself look extremely bad hiding out for days, but that doesn't change the law. Let's wait and see. Was the truck unlicensed or uninsured? Those are the only things extra. My condolences to the entire family and friends of the young man who lost his life.

Driving without a drivers license one charge
Fleeing the scene of an accident two charge
Now we'll never know if he was under the influence when he run down an innocent man for the third charge
Driving and using a vehicle without permission that could be a forth charge
    Lets wait and see.

So he left the scene of an accident, leaving a visibly injured victim who subsequently expires. So he is not in prison ? Why? The license plate # of his truck was known, his employer and his physical description known at the time of the accident and he had an opportunity to walk in at leisure and at his convenience a week later????
These VI are a joke and a mockery of laws and their enforcement on all fronts.
