Tropical Storm Fred is the 6th named storm of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season, hinting at an above-average season ahead. The sixth named storm of the year usually forms at the end of August.
In the coming days, according to the NHC, Tropical Storm Fred could bring strong winds, heavy rain and high seas to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
