WICKHAM’S CAY I, Tortola, VI- A motor scooter ride for two female cruise ship tourists did not go as planned today, February 25, 2020 as seconds after riding off they slammed into the front of a vehicle on Admin Drive, Wickham’s Cay II, Tortola.

A video sent to our newsroom shows the rider losing control of the motor scooter from the time she took off on it with a pillion rider.

They ended up crashing into the vehicle.

Luckily for the two ladies the vehicle, a pickup truck, was stationary at the time of impact and they both were wearing helmets.

They did not appear to have been seriously hurt and were assisted by tourists and other persons on the scene.

Vino you guys don’t miss a beat. You all have ears and ears all over.

Thank God no one was seriously hurt. Why rent tourist scooters if they can’t handle them?

They need to stick to taking a tour on a bus. Good thing they were not in moving traffic or coming down a hill.

The girl should have asked if they have ever ride a bike before putting two of them on the bike at once! Test the ride be herself first before putting on the passenger. Unprofessional!!!!!!

You do realize that locals and residents alike travel back and forth as well right? What you are advocating is the same as telling anyone that leaves the BVI not to come back because they may have caught the virus overseas. Be prepared and stop being a $#%&* idiot.

They were too big and heavy for the scooter, which resulted in a malfunction of the scooter.
