Can you even run around Road Town with an injury? Please stop the negative energy. He had a reason to back out but he didn't. Kyron is truly a strong determined amazing athlete hands down.

I joined with others to congratulate our Olympian Kyron Mc Master for a job well done. To reach the final of such difficult race is an achievement. What we need to do from here is to focus on developing our athletes from the primary schools level to participate in sports. It is a very healthy and a disciplined activity. Mr. Benjamen who won the event for the U.S.A is a younger and stronger than athlete than Kyron. He is 27 years old. His parents are from Antigua, so he made the Caribbean proud. Let us don't lose heart. Kyron career is outstanding because he won two Commonwealth gold medals for the Territory. However, let us focus on the future.

It’s the journey not the arrival, to have reached the final was a magnificent effort. Yes, a medal would have been nice, but, the lack of one does not detract from the magnificence of the occasion. Let’s welcome the warrior home.
