The Opposition is ‘not going to get together’- Skelton-Cline
Another reason for a unity government, according to the clergyman, is that the current Opposition is incapable of uniting.
“Y’all still got two or three parties over there that can’t get together., and ain’t going get together,” Mr Skelton-Cline stated on his show, Honestly Speaking on ZBVI 780 AM on November 12, 2024.
‘Vip will continue to share licks’- Skelton-Cline
“You are not going to get together. That is clear to me. You are not going to get together,” Mr Skelton-Cline stated emphatically and with disappointment.
He said the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) is going to keep putting “a sheet of licks” on all the other parties because they are not going to get together.
According to the commentator and consultant, a way needs to be forged for all elected members to work together in the best interest of the people of the Virgin Islands in the House of Assembly, “without all of the pomp and circumstances.”
Skelton-Cline said the reason he keeps sounding the alarm is that he sees what’s ahead, “and if we don’t do something that turns this ship at a hundred and eighty degrees…it will not be good for us.”

UNITY was and is still absent , and IT makes me kinda makes me wonder , what would they
have been like . ah guess we'll never know . But I must say they AIN'T look GOOD together
Neither of them needs to be premier, they need to commit to serving the territory’s best interest in whatever role they are assigned and be diplomatic enough to debate without degrading and attacking the persons that they should be in partnership with.
