The oath & pledge 'are not just words'- Gov Pruce

Governor Pruce said, “Today you have taken a significant step. Along with receiving your certificates of citizenship you have just taken the Oath of Allegiance to His Majesty the King and the Pledge of Loyalty to the United Kingdom. The oath and the pledge are not just words. They are a formal promise that you have made as you embrace your new nationality.”

Governor Pruce added, “As an overseas Territory and part of the realm of His Majesty, the Virgin Islands has precious links with the United Kingdom. The success that both the Virgin Islands and United Kingdom enjoy in the global economy is founded upon many shared factors, including our common law legal systems and our respect for the rule of law. But our connections go much further than that throughout history, through our people and through our culture.”

It is very sad that many local born British Virgin Islands people speak and act as if the British Virgin Islands is their owned property.
If I asked all of those that have spoken, and acting as if they they're the owners of the BVI property, not one would be able to give me right answer in the proper way I am referring to and about some arrogant, ignorant, racist, simple-minded and selfish persons.

God our Creator and Father gave mankind dominion (rulership over the earth under His guidance. Since when did he withdraw, and gave a group of person the right to decide who should get "Citizenship and who should not in the British Virgin Islands.
It is clear to recognized that some, I hope not the majority, are extremely wicked persons.

to the 36 person that were approved as "British Citizens, I request of you one thing: Behavior yourselves orderly as is expected.

My People, we need to stop this prejudice with expatriates. These are hard working people who have been giving back to our country. They paying their taxes and living peaceably among us.

So many of our "born heres" have migrated to the USA and UK. They got their green card and living comfortable lives abroad. So why y'all mad? People migrate from place to place for a comfortable living and lifestyle. We aint got the best to offer but still they remain and give back.

stop this nonsense man!! Where y'all mother, grandmother, father, mother from? Who are y'all teachers, doctors, pediatrician, care givers and the like from? We black people are our own enemy. Be happy for the people man. How is it that the government selling out to them when they living here before some of you born? and since y'all children!

They have to be here more than 20 years. Mercy man this behaviour if it hurt me as a citizen imagine how they feel knowing TORTOLA HATE THEM! Y'ALL REDICULOUS. Bash me now... I dont give a dam!
