This year’s honourees are former legislator Dr Kedrick D. Pickering, Physician of the Year; Mr Jamalie Thomas, Entertainer of the Year; Dr Michael A. Turnbull, Pioneer of the Year; Mr Kevin Fahie, Businessman of the year; and Mr Carvin Malone, Distinguished Gentleman of the Year (Posthumous)-Received by Mr Kyle Ricketts (Nephew).

Paying ‘homage’

Mr Grant in a press release today, July 25, 2024, said, “It is an honour to not only be celebrating our 6^th season of The Art of a Distinguished Gentleman but to continue to show homage to those among us who have contributed significantly to the fabric of our society. Each of these gentlemen has helped to shape the Virgin Islands through their dedicated service.”

The Creator and Host noted that not only did the show mark its 6^th Season (72 Episodes) but this year received the VI Icon Award-Media Producer of the Year Award and was named in FeedSpot top 35 Gentleman Podcast Worldwide. FeedSpot is one of the largest Podcasters database and have labeled this list as the most comprehensive gentleman podcast list worldwide.

‘Grateful’ for VI Icon Award

Grant further said, “I am immensely proud of my catalogue of work and I am grateful for this recognition by Feedspot and the Virgin Islands Icon Awards. A special thanks to all who have supported the brand over the years, as well as each gentleman over the six seasons who have sat down and shared their wisdom with the world.”

Mr Grant thanked the Virgin Islands community and friends across the region for their unwavering support of the Art of a Distinguished Gentleman brand and noted that the public can expect much more as the brand continues to contribute to raising a generation of greatness.
