‘Thank you all for 43 years of music & magic’- Quito’s
The couple bid farewell to their many customers in a Facebook post on August 18, 2024.
“Thank you all for 43 years of music and magic in Cane Garden Bay. It has been an amazing journey! We are grateful to you for taking it with us. All good things come to an end, and it is time to move on and enjoy this new phase…retirement!”
‘The music & art will never stop’- Quito’s
According to the same post on the Quito’s Gazebo and Luxury Inn Facebook page, the music and art will never stop being made, just to a smaller, more intimate audience.
“There will be more travel, more books read, more time to enjoy new interests and life with each other.”
“We wish you all the best and hope to see you on the road or some beach someday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” the couple stated.
Enriquito Rymer had said in July of this year that he would be retiring from the ownership of his hotel and restaurant, with a farewell concert with his band, “The Edge” on Saturday, July 13, 2024, on the Cane Garden Bay Beach.
In December 2023, businessman and former 4th District Legislator in the Virgin Islands House of Assembly (HoA), Mark H. Vanterpool announced that he intended to purchase Quito’s Luxury Inn and Restaurant as part of his family’s investment group.
Mr Vanterpool made the announcement on December 12, 2023, at the grand opening of Rock Cafe by Pusser's on Virgin Gorda.
“I’m signing a document tomorrow, I was to sign it today, but I was too busy. The Vanterpool family group is buying Quito’s… If you heard that before, it’s no longer a rumour, it’s true we’re buying Quito’s Hotel and Restaurant,” he revealed.
