Works 65% completed - Hon Rhymer
During the September 7, 2023, Third Sitting of the First Session of the Fifth House of Assembly, Hon Rymer had said as of September 2023 the Huntum’s Ghut project is approximately 65% complete and with an anticipated completion date of the first quarter of 2024.
The Economic Zone is the brainchild of Hon Rymer.
The purpose of the zone is to provide an Economic centre for local small businesses, along with new businesses, to ply their trade and facilitate growth. After these businesses grow, they must then leave the Economic Zone thus creating space for new businesses in a continuous growth cycle, according to Hon Rymer.
Meanwhile, procurement Coordinator, Mrs Ishma Rhymer said eligible tenderers are required to submit a Trade Licence (valid for 2023) and a detailed work programme and method statement showing the order in which the various sections of works are to be executed and the rates of progress.
Mrs Rhymer added that amongst other documentation, tenderers must also have a valid Trade Licence related to the provision of the required goods and submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of the Social Security and taxes, including Payroll and Income Tax, from VI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and Inland Revenue.

this is worse than the empty stalls in town. Can someone please bring this man to his senses?
We bringing district 5 alive yall
I would like to see all responsible pay for the failed Joe's Hill Manor project. Who authorized them to use my retirement funds? The all should be made to pay back Social Security and never do something like this again with the approval of those that pay into it.
And last but not least, that economic zone crap is just that, CRAP. but I am not surprised a the level of maturity or lack thereof. China plans a hundred years in advance and they bring their best and brightest to the table and then move forward in unity. Is it any surprise that they are the emerging POWER? Not it is not.
