The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has said it is collaborating with these jurisdictions to identify the offenders behind these threats.
Anguilla & Cayman Islands also targetted
Our News Centre can also confirm that similar threats were made to airports in Anguilla and Cayman Islands and it appears as though the British Overseas Territories (OTs) have been the target of the persons behind the emails.
The RVIPF in a press release today, May 6, 2024, said it was alerted to a potential bomb threat at Terrance B. International Airport on May 5, after 4:00 PM.
Police accurately conveyed that the threat was communicated via email to Advance Marketing & Professional Services, the parent company of Virgin Islands News Online (VINO), claiming the presence of a bomb on an aircraft and at the Terminal Building.
“In response, RVIPF and Airport Security promptly evacuated the premises, and conducted a thorough search of all areas. After two and a half hours, the all-clear was issued, and normal operations resumed,” the RVIPF stated.
Police said similar threats targeting the International Airports of Turks and Caicos and Bermuda have also been reported. “RVIPF is collaborating with these jurisdictions to identify the offenders behind these threats.”
Despite an extensive search, no devices were discovered, indicating the messages were likely intended to create chaos and disrupt airport operations, inconveniencing passengers, and staff. RVIPF reaffirms its dedication to resolving all criminal matters and will provide updates as the investigation progresses, the RVIPF stated.

On the other hand your tone is quite depressing. Stop bitching and moaning and become proactive. Yes, some Virgin Islanders will not ever return home but some do. You can affect change if you return and become active in the community. Stop sitting on the sidelines and Monday morning quarterbacking. We are not immune from problems and yes we have our fair share, but QUIT bellyaching and wringing your hands.
I speak the name of Jesus over any possible bomb threats in Jesus name I plea the blood of Jesus
