100% financing from CIBC

CIBC First Caribbean’s BVI Country Manager, Fabian S. Devonish said the bank is pleased to be joining TAG for the second consecutive year and will be offering up to 100% financing for the purchase of a new car during the car sale.

“The bank offers competitive rates on car loans and, for the one day of the sale, we will be waiving all fees associated with the loan application,” Devonish stated.

Devonish added, “While CIBC Caribbean has been providing car loans as part of its suite of products from the bank’s beginnings, we recently launched the LoanStore where immediate loan approvals are possible and some of our customers have benefitted from the rollout of this additional channel and we are looking forward to making this available to eligible persons at the TAG car sale.”

To keep the festive spirit going, anyone pre-approved for financing can also receive a CIBC credit card with a waiver on the application fee, valid until January 31, 2025.

This is always a good move with the banks. I hope that they will be SMART and try to accumulate and approve as much customers as possible with this initiative.

Imagine burrowing a loan to buy a brand new vehicle to drive on BAD roads. Isn't this a disservice to the people who have to paying taxes to get that bank loan plus all those other taxes such as DMV fees and the like. Just to get a brand new vehicle to destroy it on BAD roads. After paying for those vehicles plus the extortion prices for maintenance by the dealership. People won't have a penny left for anything. I am also of the opinion that vehicle prices could be more affordable. Something needs to be done.
