SLANEY, Tortola, VI- At around 4:15 PM, Friday, February 17, 2023, a small SUV collided with a truck in the area of Slaney on Tortola.

It appears that none of the drivers suffered injuries; however, the SUV appeared to have sustained significant damages.

It is unclear what are the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.

Police and other emergency personnel have been called to the scene.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane.

More details will be provided as they come in.

      I have noticed that a lot of cars are not staying in their own lane to avoid large potholes. So instead of stopping where the obstruction is on their side, they try to weave around it, hitting the oncoming vehicle.

    With the the way some people drive, it's a miracle more accidents don't occur on this island. And let's not get started on the high beam lights and also drivers who DO NOT hold their side of the road.

    Is right there ,so since neither kof them is injured , both of them should take a walk into the water just as they are , and give thanks to the man upstairs / their insurance will take care of it , ( IF THEY HAVE ?

    In that area I noticed some big rocks placed by the Manhattan restaurant. I know the land is private land but if it has someone with a car that’s broken down or an accident there is no room for motorists to pull off to prevent a traffic jam
