Super Bowl 57: VI watched as Chiefs fought back to beat Eagles in thriller

Seen as slight underdogs for Super Bowl 57, the Chiefs trailed for much of the game in Phoenix and were 27-21 down heading into the final quarter.
But despite limping after aggravating an ankle injury, quarterback Patrick L. Mahomes and veteran coach Andy W. Reid orchestrated a route back in front of 67,827 fans in the State Farm Stadium.
Mahomes' performance saw the 27-year-old become the first player since 1999 to win the season MVP, the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl MVP in the same season.
VI fans followed the excitement
Across the Virgin Islands, football fans followed the excitement, including at Aromas Cigar Bar on Tortola Pier Park and Captain Mulligan’s on Nanny Cay and various sports bars on Virgin Gorda, Jost van Dyke and Anegada.
Aromas Cigar Bar offered a Bud Light promotion where a first prize of $1000 cash was up for grabs. There was a second-place prize of $150 Aromas gift certificate.
One of the places that drew a sizable crowd was at Captain Mulligan’s where it was hard to tell whether any of the teams had larger crowd support.
There was hardly an empty table or chair as American football fans turned out in their numbers to catch the action on the many big screens available.
Rihanna’s half-time show!
As if the game wasn’t enough entertainment, superstar singer Rihanna, who has strong Caribbean roots, captivate fans at the State Farm Stadium and around the world in her 13-minute show.
The performance delivered on fan expectations but it included a major surprise — the singer is pregnant with her second child.
Rihanna's performance was her first live event in years, and her first since becoming a mother nine months ago.
Country star Chris Stapleton made the national anthem a simple affair at Super Bowl 57, standing alone on the field accompanied by only his electric guitar as he sang "The Star Spangled Banner" moments before the Kansas City Chiefs kickoff to the Philadelphia Eagles to start the game.
Before Stapleton's anthem, "Abbot Elementary" star Sheryl Lee Ralph performed "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
And R&B legend Babyface delivered "America the Beautiful" as a soulful folk song.
Pregame performances came from DJ Snake and Jason Derulo, whose backup dancers included synchronised robot dogs.
