Stop 'badgering' the Premier- Bishop Cline to Hon Walwyn

Bishop Cline, known for being unapologetically outspoken, went live on his Facebook page on Monday, March 31, 2025, to address some issues.
We’re not interested in eloquence- Bishop Cline
“Some people will speak about the eloquence of the now Leader of the Opposition but the truth is we’re not interested in eloquence, we’re not interested in loud barking,” Bishop Cline said during his live post.
The people of the Virgin Islands (VI), he said, are interested in results, adding that’s why the people elected them.
The badgering is 'really unbearable'
“I guess now the leadership of the opposition has changed, what you will see is a continued badgering of the Premier,” the clergyman posited.
Bishop Cline continued that this badgering from Hon Walwyn is sometimes “really unbearable”.
He said he has no issues with questions being asked rather it is the delivery of these questions.
The job of the Opposition, he added, is to provide checks and balances; promote fairness and equity and ensure the laws being passed are in the good interest of Virgin Islanders.
“You’re not there to lawyer the Premier and to badger the Premier and that should stop. Ask your questions, but that way has to stop,” Bishop Cline stated.
Hon Walwyn, in the past, has been criticised for his divisive and antagonistic nature in the House of Assembly.

Remember you cannot (or should not) speak when your mouth is full and that is exactly how they operate. Once they are eating good, they disappear.
Concerning your statement mentioning "Half Breed", as long as a person is a descendant of an African which was enslaved in the BVI that person is an indigenous BVIslander and their other ancestral heritage is irrelevant.
If what you are saying is factual concerning indigenous BVIslanders, not full breed, it is a real pity! Not to worry, it is not too late. I hope all indigenous BVIslanders realise that now is the time to ensure that the constitution includes the term indigenous BVIslander with distinguished rights.
It is not about dividing, it is about distinguishing. There are different categories within the term BVIslanders.
Where a man is born is not where he is from or belong. Our current laws do not support this; the prehttps://www.virginislandsnewsonline.com/en/news/stop-badgering-the-premier-bishop-cline-to-hon-walwyn/sent "anchor babies" do not have the same automatic rights which were conferred on Myron Walwyn.
What makes him think that walwyn is badgering the Premier. Why single out walwyn. There seems to be an ulterior motive here, based on history of behavior. Walwyn is doing an amazing job and instead of giving credit where credit is due, you proceed to incite another set of false propaganda by badgering Walwyn. Where is Mitch to bring out part 2 of how this guy really operates behind the scenes. Wolf in sheep's clothing much? Hopefully Mitch and Mather comes out to defend walwyn if they decide to address the fake news at all. The nepotism and cronyism must stop. Stop defaming the honourable minister walwyn.
Hon Walwyn will keep the govt in check, with his barking.
It is so unbelievable that you will do ANYTHING to secure YOUR status-quo and the lifestyle you have created off the backs of tax payers. I see you as a supreme grifter. One who grafts at the government for own gains. You Sir are NOT credible in anything you say or do. Exploitative nature you have!
When Mr. Cline is ready he talks about what is of interest to him. Seems like only a few people can express themselves.
Mr. Walwyn, don't mind them. Keep his feet to the fire. Being a premier is not child's play and partying. It's a real serious responsibility.
People like to talk behind closed doors and come out and act like hypocrites. Nothing gets addressed of fixed that way.
These pastors need to lead the premier to living a decent life from the nonsense he's doing.
Mr. Walwyn, keep the fire. What's for you, not a man can stop it.
When somebody going to tell MVW go pay his ex-workers
If he thinks he is dong a poor job he is in the position to voice it. We are not being heard as to what we need on the streets, Infrastructure, Drive worthy roads, Electricity, Water, Internet. Good health care.
The patch work of roads being fixed currently will be washed away at the first storm.
