Statement from the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs, & Sports

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports was informed of a serious allegation made against a teacher. We want to emphasise our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and integrity in our schools.

In response, we have implemented immediate and appropriate measures to ensure that the school environment remains safe for all students and staff. 

This matter is currently under investigation by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and the Social Development Department.
During this ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide additional details. We appreciate the community's understanding as we prioritise a thorough and fair process.
