St George's Primary marks 6th death anniversary of Trinity A. Moses
11-year-old Moses and 41-year-old Franklyn E. Penn Jr were killed in a shocking shooting incident at West End, Tortola on November 22, 2017.
Police had reported the victims were in a vehicle on the West End public road in the area of the graveyard around 9:30 PM when at least two scooter riders rode up to it and fired indiscriminately. One of the three persons in the vehicle survived the brutal attack.
Cold Case
Even with the offer of a reward of $100,000 for information leading to the identification and charge of those responsible for the murders of Penn and Moses, no one has been brought to justice.
“We are doing this because there has not been any closure, she is gone she will never be forgotten but some closure will really help us to put this thing to rest better,” Principal Dr Rogers added.
Dressed in pink with the photo of Trinity on her t-shirt, Dr Rogers, along with other teachers and relatives, added that the school wants to spark a discussion about the gruesome murder and that closure is needed not just for the family, but the teachers and community as well.
We want justice - Teachers & Relatives
“She was an absolutely wonderful student, and she should have been in college today,” the school principal reiterated while sharing that Trinity would share the entirety of her lunch as a measure of the amount of generosity she had, and love for others.
The Principal said justice needs to be served and the remembrance is also hoping to spark a reopening of the case so that investigators can give things a second look.
The mom of the late Trinity, Romona Moses who was at the memorial, offered thanks while holding back tears and emotions. She said she prays for justice every day and it was touching to see the tributes over the years and the efforts in keeping the memory of Trinity alive.
An aunt present at the remembrance also added that a television memorial for her niece is usually held yearly in Guyana where the family has strong ties. She also expressed gratitude to the staff of the school for keeping the name of Trinity alive and for putting on the memorial.

Today on the 6th year of that little girl death, my heart is broken. Everyday I have to pass that way and a tear always fall from my eyes. Give the mother some closure because she is in a lot of pain inside. The one that ordered the hit and the one that pulled the trigger do you have children or a child? Please come clean don’t allow the Karma to catch your children or child. Another thing I can’t stand is the BS about free W****. W**** WAS THE ONE WHO CALL THE HIT AND HIS TRIGGER MAN SHOT UP THE WRONG CAR THE LITTLE GIRL WAS RIDING IN.
The shame!
It’s the t***i with aids that have a son with the rubber belly Spanish girl He up bal***
So many of you out there are aware of the peeps involved, but will never talk..They are, after all, sons, cousins, uncles, and the likes,of many of you, church going people!
I've never been able to understand how the harming of a child in this manner, couldn't cause massive outrage..
I guess, as an observer, maybe, I'm wrongly looking at the situation..I thought, the arrest of persons involving in such criminal activities were of paramount importance.
I guessed wrongly.
