ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - It was just at the start of the rush hour (around 4:00 PM) yesterday, Friday, February 22, 2019, when there was a minor accident at the intersection to Bobby’s Supermarket Parking Lot.

It appears that both drivers underestimated the size of each other’s automobile, which resulted in a three-yard truck and a small SUV coming into serious contact with each other.

There were damages to both, however, no one was injured. The police were called and about an hour later the traffic was flowing again, as both truck and SUV had moved off.

Minor rush hour accidents in the middle of town are common, however, they are usually resolved quickly.

    By the position of the suv and the angle of the font tires it woild appear the driver was trying to cut in line at the roundabout. People always trying to cut in , stop it wait in line like everyone else you really are not that special.

      I see your point about the roundabout. However, this is the enterance to the parking lot at Bolos/Bobby’s. Moreso Simms parking lot.

    Look like the SUV was trying to avoid hitting the pedestrian.
