Simmons & Rogers light up School league!
In earlier games, during the week Enid Scatliffe Under 7 Red’s J’Hari Lacey earned game MVP honours as they were held to a 0-0 draw by the Maroons.
In another stalemate, the Seventh Day Adventist’s Omari Hurst was named MVP with neither his team nor opponents Cedar School 2 able to break the deadlock.
Sheldon Harry scored in the 21st and St. Georges capitalized on an Althea Scatliffe own goal, for a 2-1 triumph in their Under 9 encounter. St. Georges’ Stephon Delon was the game’s MVP.
Bregado Flax and Cedar played to a 1-1 draw in their Under 9 match. Game MVP Shamoi Dore, gave Bregado Flax a lead they would hold for eight minutes, before Jake Hallet equalized in the 30th.
Elmore Stoutt High School cruised to a 3-0 win over HLSCC, after going into the half time break 2 up thanks to goals by Tevern David in the 8th and Asheka Hall in the 19th. Victoria Medley-Perkins rounded out the scoring in the 48th, with Goalkeeper Nekesha Chinnery, named the game’s MVP.
Game MVP Omari Simmons and De Andre Rogers both scored hat tricks in leading Enid Scatliffe Blue past Enid Scatliffe Gray, 6-0, in the Under 7 Division. Simmons had scores in the 3rd, 10th and 11th while Rogers’ scores began in the 9th with others in the 13th and 19th.
Jahmal Prentice snatched the game MVP honors after leading First Impressions past Bregado Flax, 3-0, with two goals. Prentice scored in the 3rd and 30th. Jalen Prentice had the other goal in the 28th.
Shantavia Richards scored 19 minutes in, in leading Lenora Delville past Seventh Day Adventist, 1-0 in their Under 7 Division matchup. Kalique Callwood earned the match MVP.
