ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Kyron A. McMaster, world champion sprinter and silver medalist is set to host an exclusive meet and greet event at his store, Kougars, located at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.

Opened to the public, the event will be a unique opportunity for fans, supporters, and the local community to personally meet and interact with Mr. McMaster, celebrating his remarkable achievements on the global stage. 

McMaster, the reigning Commonwealth Games Champion, captured a silver medal in the final of the Men’s 400m Hurdles, on August 23, 2023, beating the 2nd and 3rd fastest men ever in that event along his way to the podium finish.

Opportunity to meet VI champ 

The meet and greet is happening today, Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 4:00 PM where persons will get the opportunity to meet the world champion. 

Mr. McMaster's unparalleled dedication and outstanding performance have brought pride to the Virgin Islands, and this meet and greet offer a chance to honor his achievements up close.

Attendees will have the chance to engage with the World Champion Silver Medalist in an event dubbed as an unforgettable opportunity to meet and celebrate the success of McMaster.

    Why is he hosting it? Shouldn’t it be the BVI Athletics or some agent that usually host these kinda things? Like he not getting the attention he expected.

    You see this ignorance... how can you be so judgmental? We often say the white people racist against black people. But we are our own enemy.

    Many people stand in long lines to see the people they idolize for a signature and a picture. Some places you have to pay. Here is a young man from the soil and you talking bull...can we commend and big each other up at any time? And what if it's a way to publicized his Company? Who wouldn't want to take advantage? And remind people to support their store

    Kyron, a prophet/person is not honored in his own country. I know many people around the world will gladly pay just to see sit and talk with you and take pictures. But to some, because you're a home grown black boy, many will not pay attention or support. But keep your head on. Believe in God, yourself and you will go places. God bless you.
