Showers expected across VI today due to approaching tropical wave- DDM
This is according to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM).
"A weak tropical wave is approaching the Eastern Caribbean. It will generate a moderate chance of cloudiness and showers across the Leeward Islands and British Virgin Islands today and tonight," DDM stated in its synopsis today.
Synopsis
Weather today: Partly cloudy with a 50 percent or moderate chance of showers.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.
Winds: East at 13 to 22 km/h or 7 to 14 mph.
Seas: 1.2 to 1.5 meters or 4 to 5 feet.
Sunset today: 6:51 pm.

---They are unreliable when it comes to daily weather or hurricane predictions.
The department explained there situation to us on more than one occasions, if there is someone to blame then write to the government requesting that they provide us with our own apparatus to do the job.
Don’t just sit there and enjoy making a fool of yourself.
If you don’t have some constructive advice to correct the problem then shut your trap until such time.
