Sherwin Gardner to headline Gospel Fest 2026 tonight

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Pioneer Caribbean gospel artiste from Trinidad and Tobago, Sherwin Gardner, will headline Gospel Fest 2026 at Lavida Cottoy Festiville in Road Town tonight, Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Gardner, who burst onto the gospel scene in the 90s, is one of the first artistes in the region to sing gospel reggae—at a time when the genre was frowned upon by some churches.

Some of his songs include “You”, “Good Oh”, “Fixer”, "Good Things On the Way", "I Worship You", and his hit song "Blessings Find Me".

Gardner, who now resides in The Bahamas, is a 9-time winner of the Marlin Award, the Caribbean’s most prestigious gospel music honour.

Other performers at Gospel Fest 2026 will be Jaayla, Brent D. Hoyte, Shanielle March, Abby Christopher, Joy Praise, and New Life Baptist Church Choir.

"Experience an unforgettable night of powerful worship, inspiring music, and celebration with an incredible lineup of local and regional gospel artists as we honour our faith, freedom, and Virgin Islands heritage, the BVI Heritage Committee- the organiser of the event- stated on social media.

Gospel Fest 2026 is slated to start at 7:00 PM. Admission is free.

    If any christian can prove there was a Jesus who walked this earth doing miracles I will give them $10,000.00.
