THE VALLEY, Anguilla- The BVI Senior Men’s National Football Team is currently in Anguilla for a training camp.

According to the BVI Football Association (BVIFA), this training camp is “critical” as preparations intensify ahead of the team’s upcoming international fixtures. 

The team will be in Anguilla for the weeklong training camp (April 15 to 21, 2025) and will play two friendly matches while there against host country Anguilla.  

One of the matches was held on Thursday, April 17, two days following the team’s arrival. The match ended 0-0. 

The other friendly match is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, April 20, 2025. 

The training team

The training squad currently in Anguilla represent a “blend of youth and experience”, the BVIFA said in a statement. 

The team is made up of Goalkeepers Akeem Paddy (Islanders FC) and Harry Foden (Blandford United); Defenders Miguel Marshall (Poole Town), Ikyjah Williams (VG United), Troy Caesar (Islanders FC), and T’Khoy Morton (VG United); Midfielders William Green (Baltimore City FC), Quelahni Nickie (VG United), Alejandro Santos (Autonoma University), Sebastian Santos (CD San Juan), Carlos Septus (Islanders FC), Kristian Javier (Groove United), Joel Mars (VG United), and Marc Tan (Rebels FC); and Forwards Adrian Padilla Adams (Trival Valderas), Tyler Forbes (Witham Town), Jake Forbes (Poole Town), Johari Lacey (SFS International), and Jaadon Quashie (VG United). 

The Coaching and Support Staff are Head Coach David Perez Asensio, Assistant Coach Felix Percival, Goalkeeper Coach Morris Mark Jr, Physiotherapist Chester James and Team Manager: Guillaume Parkins

“This camp offers a key opportunity for Head Coach David Perez Asensio and his technical team to assess talent, refine tactics, and build chemistry ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match against Jamaica on June 7 2025 at the A. O. Shirley Recreation Ground,” the statement added.
