Selroy Hanley charged for stabbing incident @ Purcell
Selroy Hanley, 33, of Purcell Estate was charged with wounding with intent and being armed with an offensive weapon, following the incident which took place on the Purcell Estate Basketball Court.
The charge of wounding with intent carries a maximum term of life imprisonment.
The male victim continues to receive treatment for his injuries at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital, police stated in a press release today, September 2, 2022.
He is said to be in serious but stable condition.
Hanley will appear before the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
