Sea Cows Bay businesswoman Casandra E. Sutton-Forbes passes
Sutton-Forbes passed away at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital in Road Town on July 29, 2023. She was 65 years of age, having been born on September 27, 1957.
She was the mother of seven children- 4 girls and 3 boys.
Sutton-Forbes was well-known in the community and in the Sea Cows Bay area, her childhood home. She lived briefly in St Thomas, USVI, and also did a variety of jobs in both St Thomas and Tortola.
For years, as a businesswoman, Sutton-Forbes sold many items at Crafts Alive. She was one of the first to occupy a stall there until she fell ill.
Many residents remember the late Sutton-Forbes for her involvement in many activities, including social and political events and she was always the life of the party.
Funeral arrangements
Her family has announced the burial will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Sea Cows Bay Methodist Church. There will be a pre-viewing also on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, on Tortola.
