Scanty support for 'Cindy' in protest march to HoA
The scanty group included unsuccessful political candidate under three different political parties, Shaina M. Smith-Archer and Director of the Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) Stacy R. Mather, who was in 2019 given an MBE by The Queen.
The few persons marched from Queen Elizabeth II Park to the official House of Assembly (HoA) calling for, among other things, Honourable Julian Willock to pay his legal fees, for the leader of the Opposition Honourable Marlon A. Penn (R8) to move a motion of no-confidence against the Andrew A. Fahie (R1)-led Government, that schools be a priority and for the government to develop a referendum in consultation with the people before considering independence from Britain.
The small gathering was addressed by Smith-Archer and Opposition Member Honourable Melvin M. Turnbull (R2).
Rosan-Jones wants VIP, Speaker fired
Rosan-Jones, who has blamed government for her being made redundant at the BVI Tourist Board and has vowed to get the VIP Government out of power at all cost, has also been calling for Speaker Willock to be fired.
She has also resorted to ridiculing the speaker on social media and previously said she despises the Deputy Premier Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).
