RVIPF Officer charged after ammunition allegedly found in home
Lenroy Samuel, 41 was arrested and later charged after a search of his residence uncovered several rounds of ammunition, the RVIPF stated in a press release today, November 5, 2021.
Commissioner of Police Mark Collins had stated in past that any officer found to have engaged in criminal activity will be swiftly brought to justice.
“It is very important for an officer of the law to have integrity and abstain from any form of illegal activity. Those found to be on the wrong side of the law will be arrested, charged and prosecuted,” he noted.
Samuel is being held in custody pending his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.
CoI on RVIPF?
In the past a number of police officers have been charged for breach of trust and looting after the hurricanes of 2017.
It is just some of the reasons many believe the RVIPF, under the Governor’s Office, should have also been investigated by the Commission of Inquiry in the VI.

But when the administration pass and present stop treating police officers that come from other Police Forces better than those that trained initially as members of the RVIPF in Barbados or Tortola, they will see the difference.
All of them come from other Forces and reaping the sweet.
