Rotary Club of RT & Flow help ESHS students build & paint benches
This initiative helps to create and foster community partnerships with various businesses and organisations while providing community service opportunities for senior school students who must complete 120 hours of community service as part of their graduation requirement.
The well needed benches were hand painted in blue and yellow, representing school colours.
Members of the Rotary Club of Road Town and telecommunications giant Flow spent the weekend working with students to make this initiative a reality.
Over the years the Elmore Stoutt High School has received support from various businesses and community organisations like: The Classes of 1976, 1984, 1986, 1996, and 2006, Showtime Band, Rotary Clubs, Road Town Wholesale, ZBVI and Flow.
Similar to the Adopt a School Programme, businesses are encouraged to support the school in various capacities.
The Elmore Stoutt High School is extremely grateful for the kind donations and continues to welcome like partnerships with other community service organisations in an effort to continue to build school morale and community awareness.”
