VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Rosewood Little Dix Bay Resort in Virgin Gorda has been ranked Number 1 on the 2025 Best Hotels in the Virgin Islands by US News & World Report.

US News & World Report publishes the Best Vacations, Best Cruise Lines, and Best Travel Rewards Programmes. 

The 15th annual rankings of the Best Hotels were released on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, highlighting more than 587 hotels across the Caribbean.

Best VI Hotels

Rounding off the top five hotels in the VI are Bitter End Yacht Club at Number 2, Sugar Mill Hotel at Number 3, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina at Number 4, and Long Bay Beach Resort at Number 5. 

Rankings aim to assist travellers in planning their next trip.

Comprehensive approach to ranking

A press release from Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, announcing the property's fourth place ranking, quoted Senior Travel Editor at US News Zach Wilson as saying, “With many hotel options to choose from – and numerous components factoring in to determine which hotels are exceptional – the US News Best Hotels rankings consider hotel star ratings combined with the collective opinion of travel experts and customers to provide travellers with a solid starting point for planning their next trip.”

Mr Wilson explained that travellers are seeking unique and memorable experiences, cultural authenticity, savoury cuisine, comfortable yet lavish accommodations, excellent amenities and more. 

The rankings follow a comprehensive, transparent methodology that factors in each hotel’s star rating, the aggregate opinion of published travel experts and the overall customer satisfaction expressed in online guest reviews of luxury hotels and resorts, the release added.

    This was a no brainer. Virgin Gorda has long been the premiere destination. Congratulations to all the staff who strive every day to make this a reality.

    Great restaurants and a nice boutique. Never stayed there but the resort looks like it should be #1.
