Rose Cassell-Sealy, newly appointed Island Manager in Montserrat
In the meantime we will be undertaking a number of strategic initiatives to foster a closer relationship with our customers. Part of our Development plan would be to venture out into the community with the aim of building community relationships.
Delta's community programs are strategic investment in the future of our business success. These initiatives will be centered around the youths and their empowerment through education and sports. Our approach involves working cooperatively with governments, communities, Society Associations, Churches, and Nongovernmental organizations. Our areas for community investment will include providing educational and training opportunities, enhancing sustainable competitive sports and developing basic community needs.
We will in short order be issuing a campaign throughout the Region where Delta is present, in compliance with the Health, Safety and the Environmental laws of these islands, as we focus our "We Comply" commitment .
"We Comply" was birthed at a time when governments throughout the region were all sharpening their environmental laws. We as a company heeded the call and have worked and are still working to ensure that we remain in compliance with these laws.
Further, we will be reassuring the life of our customers’ vehicle engines by having two filters on each pump at our service stations. This initiative is called “Double Filter, Double Clean” We will provide more information when we launch that campaign in the Montserrat market soon.
We will partner with our distributors, stakeholder, employees, and customers to share in our vision for we surely recognize that we are as strong as our weakest link.
