Rohan Williams found guilty of 2019 murder & rape of Lenia Lettsome-Green
The guilty verdict on both counts was handed down in the High Court on Friday, July 12, 2024, five years after Williams was charged.
Lettsome-Green was shot and left on the road at George’s North Side on Sunday, May 26, 2019. She was transported to Peebles Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Williams, who resided at Great Mountain, Tortola, was charged with the murder of Lettsome-Green at 5:00pm on Monday May 27, 2019.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a press release today, July 16, 2024, said Williams' conviction marks the culmination of relentless efforts by the RVIPF and the dedicated team at the Director of Public Prosecutions office.
“This verdict brings a sense of closure and justice to the family of Lenia Green and the community at large, who have been profoundly affected by this tragedy,” the press release stated.
Commissioner of Police Mark Collins extended gratitude and congratulations to the police officers and civilian staff “who worked tirelessly” to ensure that justice was served.
“Their unwavering commitment and collaboration were instrumental in securing this outcome,” the press release stated.
Williams will return for sentencing on November 14, 2024.

It’s only now I’m actually seeing who this monster is. I recognize his face . I hope that he gets the stiffest penalty the law can dish out for what he did to this girl.
