Road March champs VIBE seeking to draw a wider audience
VIBE, which stands for Virgin Island Based Entertainment, has only been in existence as a group for three years now but has already built a large following while racking up three Road March titles in succession.
Only Showtime band, with 8 Road March titles, six of which were won in succession, has achieved better success than VIBE.
Lead vocalist of VIBE, Raul R. ‘Juggo’ Sprauve is promising that all will be pleased with the new alterations to be made.
Speaking to members of the media moments after closing the festival performances at Rita Francis Festiville in Road Town on Saturday August 6, 2016, Sprauve said while he would not want to let the “cat out of the bag”, it has to do with the band’s performance, members and its overall style.
Going to Phase Two
“We are going on to phase two. This is just phase one of the band because we initially had a plan before we came into VIBE. We are going to expand a little more and make the band a little more appealing to a wider variety crowd than we are right now,” he said.
“We are going to have some changes within the few months and they are going to be effective and they are going to be in the best interest of the band and the fans,” Sprauve further added.
VIBE currently has 10 band members. The band says its music is a fusion of all genres.
