RiteWay gets public’s praise for taking on differently-abled students as apprentices
The two differently-abled students are Tre Williams and Kymani Smith.
Students will work 2 days a week
RiteWay in a social media post on January 10, 2024, said Williams and Smith will be working in Retail at RiteWay, Pasea, two days a week for the duration of the programme.
"The Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre believes students with special educational needs can learn and therefore, they can be equipped to make valuable contributions to their community.
“The institution is tasked with providing the stimulus by which all students can mature in all facets of their lives, thus meeting their fullest potential. Senior students from 16 years old will be participating as part of the school's apprenticeship program. The programme is one where senior students identify careers and are placed in those businesses for training," RiteWay stated on its Facebook page.
