Resident Judge Vicki-Ann Ellis appointed to act on Justice of Appeal board
Her appointment was announced on the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court’s website.
It said, the St Lucian judge will “act as Justice of Appeal, Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period 22nd February to 3rd March 2021, for the purpose of the Court of Appeal sitting for the Territory of the Virgin Islands.”
Justice Ellis has been a resident judge since 2012, taking over from Justice Rita Joseph-Olivetti.

In the meantime, the JLSC also made another appointment in relations to the territory.
The website indicated that Mr Anthony Gonsalves, Queens Counsel, will also act as Justice of Appeal, in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period February 22 to March 3, 2021, for the purpose of the Court of Appeal sitting for the Territory of the Virgin Islands.
QC Gonsalves is a native of St Kitts and Nevis.
