Rental vehicle reported stolen @ TB Lettsome International Airport

BEEF ISLAND, VI- A rental vehicle was reportedly stolen from the parking lot at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the vehicle stolen is a Toyota Rush with number plates RT - 3147.

The vehicle is said to belong to Alamo Enterprise and National Car Rental.

Police media liason Akia L. Thomas told Virgin Islands News Online today, November 29, 2021, that investigations are ongoing.

"I can confirm that a report was received, on Sunday, November 28, of a alleged stolen vehicle at the Terrence B. International Airport. The details surrounding this incident are unclear; therefore no further information can be given at this time."

Thomas said no arrests have been made.

"Investigations are ongoing into the matter," Thomas said.
