Reggae artiste, Shine-I unveils new track
This was disclosed to Virgin Islands News Online in an exclusive interview.
The song which speaks mainly about the unification of people of African descent features the popular St Croix native reggae artiste, Mada Nile and is Shine-I’s first official single released after the emergence of his debut album, ”The Foundation”, in January of this year.
Nothing Else Matters has already been receiving airplay on the airwaves both on local radio and in the USVI.
The producer of the track, Marcus “Young Blood” Mark, was also the chief producer Shine-I’s debut album; the track also sees production credits coming from Laurent “Tippy-I” Alfred of I-grade Records as well.
Young Blood was able to produce the track after receiving the home recording of the lyrics from Shine-I and dubbed ther instrumental the "submerged riddim".
“It is an excellent collaboration with the voices of myself and Empress Mada Nile, the exchanges [on the track are] very versatile…flowing,” Shine-I felt.
The production, he added, was also excellent and awesome and so far everyone who has heard it, whether it was on facebook or twitter has really embraced it and are excited about it.
“It went out with a positive energy and created something…” the artist revealed.
Asked about promotion efforts, the artist said tracks were scheduled to be released in places like Jamaica, St Kitts and the US as well as online through iTunes, facebook stores, Mada Nile’s website (madafyahnile.com) in efforts to promote the song.
The track would be available for download from this weekend on cdbaby.com and fans can check his facebook page for download information. The itunes download would be made available sometime after.
The song is also available on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k65_AfXIxv8&list=UUdeDHksy2Lb3jYbcwNdglmQ&index=1&feature=plcp.
He expressed the hope that fans would call into radio stations to request the song and also contact him through his twitter handle @musicByShineI or his facebook page [facebook.com/1shineI].
There is always a spiritual inclinement when you are trodding out in this world the artist expressed, as such he was always able to see and hear things that make him write music.
Shine-I encouraged fans to keep expecting greater things and expressed that he would love to work in future with the Rebel Camp out of Jamaica which consists of artists such as Queen Ifrica as well as with Taurus Riley and a few other names.
Additional information he noted, can be received by calling 284.499.7385 or emailing shineI.artist@gmail.com for his management team.

Wellsa nothing is wrong in trying to become a start, but i had to asked people where does he work, from what i can see hes always in town by melo moods is he a chef working there, if not government need to see it that these person who r employed by the government do there private work on there private time and not government , he music is not to bad and i see where he is trying to go all the best.
That why i asked and didnt proof read my message, asking if hes working for melo moods. To the singer follow your dream thats good, but keep your mind open that you work for the government full time as well. because I thought he was a messenger that always out side of government, to people that would post i dont care about the negative its the truth and i sure he knows this to.
All the best trying to promote your music and i hope its not only positive in the music only but on the job that hired you as well, Big ups!!

Government dont tell you not to take your lunch hour come on now whats your point, if you choose not to take it whos to blame, but yet you would leave and say i didnt have lunch so im going early wow think before you post....im a taxi and i have been there. Who chill for hours on government time and outside are watching thats why time like these we can post on the slackers that reading this and would do better.
All im saying is spend more time doing your government work that they are paying for, if not so asked melo moods for a job there or zrod.................
And from what i does see believe me wise up man, if this so call taxi man or whoever never post this, you would never post back. The time you spend idling put it to use and be more productive in working for the government that hire you.

A lot of time we sit on the side and mind someone elses business because we have no real aim or ambition. This yound brother has nothing but respect and goes above and beyond for his community, family, job and his fans. "CAN YOU SAY THAT ABOUT YOURSELF, hater"
