ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The annual Rotary Club of Tortola twenty-five thousand dollars cash raffle will be held today, August 31, 2024, and proceeds will go towards supporting efforts for cancer treatment at BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA).

President of the Rotary Club of Tortola, Chrisneal A. O'Neal said the club chose to focus on the elements of cancer treatments available to patients by the BVIHSA during an interview with JTV Channel 55’s Cathy Richards.

“We try to do what’s best for the most people, in a larger community so we feel that working with BVIHSA…helping them to make certain services available to the wider community that has greater impact,” she said.

The draw will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Bamboushay in Road Town.

BVIHSA happy to work with RCOT

Interim Chief Executive Officer of BVIHSA, Dr. June M. Samuel said they are pleased that the Rotary Club of Tortola has decided to partner with them.

According to the government mandate, the BVIHSA provides services in response to public health trends within the country.
