ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Ramon George aka Ramon G has been crowned 2022 Soca Monarch, defending his crown won in 2019.

George retained his title with his song ‘Mass Intention’ at the Soca Competition held as part of Bernard ‘Yampie’ Festiville at Festival Grounds in Road Town on July 30, 2022.

Along with the crown, Ramon G won $5000.00.

The First Runner Up was Pascal, with his song ‘The Buss Chest’.

The Soca Competition attracted a large crowd.

    The Judges thieving for this man , I guess they don’t want I Vinci dude to get this money. The Beast was the winner

      Clarity and Diction was criteria for the competition. The Beast had good presentation but you could not understand his words. Seco day it is a singing competition and a competitor must be able to hold his key and pitch. It's not all about Antics
