DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- The undefeated Pure Playaz will be one of the 6 teams in action when play in the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League resumes today, September 27, 2019, following a cancellation of games last week due to Tropical Storm Karen.

Pure Playaz, who are the Number 1 ranked team in the league at the moment, will be challenged by Number 3 ranked team DA 3rd from 9:30pm in the 3rd and final game of the evening at the Save the Seed Energy Center in Duff’s Bottom.

Opening play today from 6:30pm will be Skillful Ballers and Medics while Nex and 79 clash from 8:00pm.

Play continues on Saturday and Sunday with another three games.

Rankings

With the top 8 teams making the playoff, Pure Playaz are in the driver’s seat with 5 wins from 5 games and four games remaining.

Former champions Splash Brothers are second in the rankings with 4 wins out of 5 games.

79 and DA 3rd are jointly third with 3 wins and 2 losses, while defending champions Bayside Blazers and Momentum are joint 4th with 3 wins each; however, Momentum has 4 games in hand as against 3 by Bayside Blazers.

Skillful Ballers and Medics round out the top 8, while Nex and Young Empire are yet to win a game.

The bottom of the table teams; however, have the most games in hand and cannot be counted out just yet.

Cost per game nights is $5.00 adults and $3.00 for children under 12 years of age.

    Could not believe the behavior of some players too rude and suppose to be Christians, I heard the bad words with my own ears
