Public votes M.A.L.E. for Digicel's $5k charity

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Digicel BVI on December 30, 2022, presented M.A.L.E. with a cheque for $5,000.00 for receiving the most votes from the public for Digicel's Christmas Pick and Give promotion.

The Men Anointing Leaders Everywhere (M.A.L.E.) organisation was one of three charities that the public was able to vote for as the recipient of the monetary donation. The others were Eslyn Henley Richez Learning Centre and BVI Humane Society.

Founder and President of M.A.L.E., Mr Henderson K. Tittle expressed gratitude to the many persons who voted for M.A.L.E., adding that their votes were a testament to the community's appreciation of what the organisation is doing for youngmen and women.

"To all who voted for us, we thank you and promise that we will continue to work with our young men and women."

Mr Tittle also displayed a noble gesture when he decided to share the win with the other two organisations, donating $500 to each.

Digicel also gifted the BVI Humane Society and Eslyn Henley Richez Learning Centre with a cellphone with a year of free unlimited data.

Kemoya S. Ronan wins MacBook

Meanwhile, Digicel used the occasion to present Friday's Shake to Win winner, Ms Kemoya S. Ronan, with her MacBook.

The presentations were done at the Digicel flagship store on Waterfront Drive.

    This group and their exceptional leader deserve this prize. Pastor Tittle does an amazing job with our youths and even his school devotions. Congrats and keep up the great work.

    It’s a great idea but can we teach the youth that they can be good and do the right thing without attaching God to it? They need to learn to do it for themselves.
