Public Health Unit & Department of Waste Management relocating

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Public Health Unit (PHU) and Department of Waste Management will be relocating from the Union Property Building, effective Monday, August 31, 2026.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, effective Tuesday, September 1, 2026, members of the public are advised that the Public Health Unit will be temporarily relocated to the Ground Floor, Social Development Department Building, adjacent to the Environmental Health Division on Station Avenue.

The Department of Waste Management will be temporarily relocated to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Voronica's House of Commerce in Long Bush.

Disruptions to services to be minimised

The Ministry has apologised for any inconvenience that may occur during the transition and assures the public that every effort is being made to minimise disruptions to services.

The public is encouraged to take note of these temporary locations when seeking services from the affected departments.

Meanwhile, all existing telephone numbers and contact lines for the Public Health Unit and Department of Waste Management will remain the same.

    I waiting for public health and eshs to come forward and tell the public wa really going with them young girls and the school and bring to light about what the men (especially those who wear Gucci chains in them pics) doing.

    Also the men outside of the school who got sti/hiv to spread. I can't feel sorry for who ever young girl get catch. Your parents fail you smf decided to play with fire so fire will have to teach you.


    Don't forget the last news from public health "transactional" sex between young adolescents and adults.

    Y'all raise a culture on sex and not raising your kids with self respect and morals and the predator's and criminals having a feast off of y'all ignorance

    If y'all find out the young girls who look so innocent with good grades getting caught up in

    If y'all find out all that men who are regular offender's allowed to work in those schools and the men who regularly have to interact with students still operating in those sensitive areas...

    We seriously need a sex offender list
    If y'all know wa really going on and see the culprits deeply involved in predatory behavior y'all would guarantee march!!
